from the city center on hiking

cultures, traditions and farmland

SHIVAPURI
NATIONAL PARK (144 SQ KM)
Shivapuri
national park offers nearest retreat
from Kathamndu, it is popular as day
hiking, trekking, bird watching and
recreation area. This park was
established as a watershed and
wildlife reserve and declared as a
national park for protection of its
unique natural beautification.
Vegetation varieties in the park
include its 129 species of mushrooms
while animals include 19 species of
mammals including beer, leopard,
deer wild boar, wildcat and langur
monkey. The park boasts of 177
species of birds and 102 species
of butterflies.

Hiking Program:
After
breakfast drive 11 km to the north of Kathmandu to national park check post
hike up to Shivapuri Hill through
the deep forests approximately 3
hours. From the top can see
excellent view of Kathmandu Valley,
Annapurna mountains Range,
fishtails, Ganesh Himal and Langtang
Himalayas. We will serve delicious
pack lunch at top of hill while you
are enjoying the amazing
views.
After two hours walk down
though different trail to road to
Kathmandu and drive to hotel.

NAGARKOT

Hill station)
Nagarkot
is a unique and delightful
destination for short hiking and
trekking. For anyone who wants to
have little adventure trip without
prepared a hike to Nagarkot's
surrounding areas would be a good
option. One can traverse short
distances on trekking trails and
come close to nature's wonders such
as the outer of green forests,
flower-covered meadows and unusual
rock structure. Spring season
flowers are beautiful against the
peaceful backdrop of the
snow-covered mountains.
Nagarkot
located 35
kilometers east of Kathmandu an
elevation of 2220 meters from sea
level, it is one of the most scenic
hills station well-known for
wonderful sunrise view of the
Himalaya during the weather clear.
There is range of hotels and guest
house it is best to spend the night
so that you can be there for the
wonderful sunrise early morning.
Nagarkot is nearest spots from
Kathmandu to view Mount Everest as
well as other snow-topped peaks of
the Himalayan range of eastern
Nepal. It has also offers a great
view of the Valley.
