Classic Everest Trek -20 days (Start from Jiri)

Before the Lukla Airport commenced, Jiri was supposed to be the gateway of Everest region trekking. The route used by Sir Edmund Hillarie and Tenzing Sherpa in 1953 to be the first human on the top of Everest Peak. Trekking from Jiri gives advantage of helping trekkers to acclimatize high altitude and enjoy trekking through the diverse flora and fauna in the mid altitude regions. We follow the main trail to the Everest base camp and Kalapatthar with all its attraction. 

ITINERARY (Participants join in Kathmandu)

Day 01:	Early morning drive to Jiri (1955m)
Day 02:	Jiri to Deorali (1710m)
Day 03:	Deorali to Kinja (1630M)
Day 04:	Kinja to Junbesi (2680M)
Day 05:	Junbesi to Nunthala (2330m)
Day 06:	Nunthala to Khari Khola (2040m)
Day 07:	Khari Khola rest day
Day 08:	Khari Khola to Paiya (Chutak)
Day 09:	Paiya to Phakdhing  (2610m)
Day 10:	Phakdhing to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Day 11:	Namche to Tengboche (3867m)
Day 12:	Tengboche to Pheriche ( 4240m)
Day 13:	acclimatization day
Day 14:	Pheriche to Lobuche (4920m)
Day 15:	Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5140 m.) and Climb to  Kalapatter (5545 m.) back to Gorekshep
Day 16:	Gorekshep to EBC / Gorak Shep (5140 m.) (5364 m.)  Pheriche (4240 m.)
Day 17:	Pheriche to Tyengboche
Day 18:	Tyengboche to Namche
Day 19:	Namche to Lukla
Day 20:	Morning flight to Kathmandu- extend others  program or on your own

Extend trip: You could extend other programs such as hotel booking, Kathmandu city tours Chitwan wildlife safari, river rafting or any others you have in mind.
