Bhutan - Tour Price

Bhutan Tour cost: Travel cost in Bhutan is fixed by the Royal Government of Bhutan through the policy of regulated tourist tariff on full board basis.

Peak Season (August to May)

  • 3 or more person in group: US$200 per person per day
  • 2 person travelling: US$230 per person per day
  • 1 person travelling: US$240 per day

Off Season (June and July)

  • 3 or more person in group: US$165 per person per day
  • 2 person travelling: US$195 per person per day
  • 1 person travelling US$205 per day

*These rates include government mandated surcharge of US$40 per day for one person and US$30 per day per person for a group of two.

Single Room Supplement: Person in group willing to take a single room will additionally pay USD 25 per night.

The tariff is valid for hotel tours as well as camping.

Service included in above prices:

  • Hotel accommodations (all hotel in Bhutan built as Bhutan standard.
  • All meals
  • Ground transportation by Japanese vehicle
  • Escorted by English speaking guide
  • Trekking equipment, tents, a cook, and pack animals, and sleeping bags if necessary.
  • Our guests are hosted in Class A or B hotels (the best!) which are approved by Tourism Authority of Bhutan.

The Cost does not include:

  • International and internal airfares
  • Airport taxes
  • Drinks, tip and other expenses of personal nature
  • Travel Insurance
  • Extra expenses due to nature and unforeseen events

Discount

  • There are discounts for visits in duration of more than 10 days. The discount is 10% per day per person for visits of 11 to 20 days. The discount is not applied to the first 10 days it is applied from days 11th onward.
  • There will be no charge for children aged 5 and younger.
  • Children between the ages of 6 and 12 will be given a 50% discount when accompanied by an adult/guardian.
  • Full-time students under the age of 25 will be given a 25% discount if they have a valid identity card from their academic institution.
