Mani
Rimdu Festival Trek 2008 – 18 days
Mani
Rimdu is an important festival of Sherpa
community in Tengboche Everest. It consists of
nine days of ceremonies and meditation (Drupchen).
This is concluded by a special blessing ceremony
given by Tengboche Rinpoche to the public and
the world renowned Mask Dances performed by the
monks at Tengboche Monastery. This is the
perfect way to see the Everest range away from
the crowds and gain a first-hand view of the
tradition, religion, and culture of the Sherpas.
